Sebastiano Esposito (simply “Esposito”), born on July 2, 2002, in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy, is an Italian football player who plays as a center forward. At the age of 16, he made his debut for Inter Milan, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to participate in European competitions. He subsequently made his debut in both the UEFA Champions League and Serie A, and was also nominated for the Golden Boy Award. Most of his career has been spent on loan; he has played for SPAL, Venezia, Swiss club Basel, Belgian side Anderlecht, as well as Bari and Sampdoria in Serie B. During his loan spell at Empoli in the 2024–25 season, he scored 8 goals—a personal record for a single season—despite his team being relegated. After returning to Inter Milan, he participated in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, starting in one of the matches. In August 2025, he was loaned to Cagliari. He helped the Italy U17 national team reach the final of the 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and made his debut for the Italy U21 team in 2020.
